Kang San-hyuk (Park Hae-jin) joined the 119 special rescue team in order to find ways to relocate the station near the forest, as he was in charge of the project of building a resort at the forest and the noise from the station would greatly affect his plan. He shared the house with doctor Jung Young-jae (Jo Bo-ra) who was also demoted to the rural Miryeong hospital. While San-hyuk worked hard to become qualified member of 119 rescue team, then he would have access to the records to find a reason for site relocation. The team leader Bong Dae-yong (Ryu Seung-soo) was not pleased with San-hyuk’s performance as San-hyuk focused more on attaining personal goal than to look after the team’s safety.
On the other hand, Young-jae tried to find ways to get the villagers to seek medical help at the rural hospital, much to her colleague Park Jin-wan (Ahn Sang-woo)’s displeasure. The staff from the town’s office in charge of forestry, Oh Bo-mi (Jung Yeon-joo), was very enthusiastic about her jobs, often making rounds at the forests to check if people had violated the rules. She befriended a 119 special rescue team member Choi Chang (No Gwang-sik) who taught her ways around the forests,
